Extrusion

Manufacturing method for forming profiles whereby material is forced through a Die. This technique produces a new cross section form. The manufacturing machines press a mixture of uncured material through a Die in order to create a product with the same cross section to its entire length. In this way one can produce various products of continuous length.

Kast Silicone’s expertise is the knowledge to manufacture the most suitable compound to match the need of the product and the most suitable Die for the extrusion process in order to achieve a controlled accurate and consistent process monitored by the quality control system.

This technology enables manufacturing of profiled tubes in multiple shapes.
